How long has it been since you had a game of Badminton on the beach on a sunny afternoon?

The game has been played for centuries but the modern game we know today only started recently …. In the mid 1800’s!

Our ancestors have been playing badminton on beaches and home gardens for years and we have all had a game or two at some point in our lives.

Beach Badminton is a great fun game that is a little less strenuous on the body than the beach volleyball and footvolley.

So give this one a go if you fancy a comeback from those days on a hard floor - or haven’t had the time to commit to any sport in a long time.

Anyone can pick up this game sufficient enough to play a good game. Of course playing outside, the wind can make an extra challenge over indoor badminton, but a slightly heavier shuttlecock compensates.

This is a great game for doubles.
